Hands on with the iPad

It’s finally here (unofficially). While we are trying to get back to our normal lives with work at the office today, we’ve got news that our unit of the iPad has arrived in Thailand and our kind partner is willing to deliver it to our office right away. Read the rest of this entry »

Yaiya Resort, Hua Hin

First post of 2010

It’s been really a long while (again) since my last post, which was a few months back in 2009. Many things have happened since.

Fortunately, there were not much of a surprise from Apple late in 2009, which gave us a lifeline on our inventory! Another fortunate and one of the highlights of 2009-2010 was that I was given the chance to join our team to the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas in Jan’10. The trip in itself is a blessing – a much needed break and travel, as well as a chance to widen my horizon. I’ve taken a series of photos and posted them on my Flickr page.

Moving forward, Apple has just announced the much anticipated “tablet” which turns out to be called the iPad, a blown up iPhone. While many people think that Apple might have lost it this time, I feel that Apple has something else in their sight, not just a device to kill the Kindle from Amazon. The game has just started so it’s too early to tell at the moment. But I’m betting on Apple to do something amazing as always.

So moving along in 2010, I’m planning to move Urbanhideaway cum my personal homepage, either to another home totally or changing to a more subtle theme. So watch out ;)
